Definitely a hidden gem! The fish is so delicious and the atmosphere is laid back. Tonight our table had the house fish, frog legs, calamari, chicken strips (kids), and chicken gumbo. Every single thing was delicious! You will not be disappointed.

Cute place, great food huge portions, great staff, clean restrooms! Only one small issue, the smell of the restaurant . It doesn’t stink but whatever they have as an air freshener is overkill! But everything else was amazing! I highly recommend the walleye.

We were there celebrating my birthday and my sister's birthday. Service was excellent as well as the food. I had been there many times, but my sister had not. Sara made us feel like we were family. So glad we had our birtjday dinner there.

If they could find the seasoning for their food this place may garner 2 stars , but probably not. If you want trash served with dumpster juice as the dipping sauce this is your place. Also, the management is seriously inept, they charge you extra to use a credit card in 2020. How many pennies are you counting? What a joke.

We went here for happy hour and had a Groupon. They told us that happy hour was only AT THE BAR, but there were no seats available. Plus, they didn't have anything on draft. I ordered the Buffalo chicken sandwich with fries. Both were excellent. The decor of the place was very well done. There were canoes, a fox, and other animals all throughout the restaurant. I wanted to like the place, but the happy hour thing was kind of ridiculous.

This place is amazing!! Great food and great service!! My family of 10 were all impressed!!! They went over and above to congratulate our two high school graduates!! Definitely recommend this place and will be back for sure!

I've been a customer for many many years. Our dinner last Friday wasn't up to par but I think we had a newer waiter. He was polite but MIA so I don't know if he was just really busy or what. The food was good but we had to ask for things that are normally provided. Luckily, others helped out and got our waiter for us a couple times. Lazy River is a must try as the Walleye & Crab Cakes are absolutely delicious. Sometimes get the crab cake appetizer and then the Wallete for our entree.

Walleye Dinner was great...cooked perfectly. The cracker basket with cheese spread is a nice touch, you don't see that much anymore. The dinners also come with a corn salsa, which is a pretty darn good. Service was friendly and attentive.

This place has great fish options and I loved the fishing decor. Definitely going to bring out of towners here in the future. The fish portions are giant.

Every time we go it's a toss up on how the food quality is gonna be. One time the burger is cooked perfect, the next time it's a hockey puck. Fish and steak have always been really good. I think the grill cook needs to learn how to use a meat thermometer instead of hacking the burger in half to see if it's cooked properly. Only to have it end up super well done and dry instead medium rare. But we still enjoy it overall and have introduced several people as well

The fish was ok maybe a cod would have been a better white fish for me but I think with the decor on the walls I'm sure they want you to feel you are near a river with a local catch. I think a catfish would be a nice option in my mind. The frog legs were pretty good and the corn relish was a nice touch.

Food was really good service was outstanding. The dining room is not huge but they can handle decent size groups. I would call ahead if you have more than 6 people.

Had the Lime Grilled Salmon. Excellent! Tied for 1st in this area. The California mix veggies were also very good. Not just the same old same old. The corn chowder was exceptional. My wife had the cheddar burger. Wood grilled, as was the salmon. Now I have to come back here for a while! If you love to fish and hunt, you have to come here at least once just for the decor! Also, Dan our server was great! Very attentive and professional.

After seeing Aquaman my chidren were craving fish. This is the best place for fish in our area!

Lazy River is a hidden gem. Located in a strip mall at the corner of Big Bend and Sulpher Spring Road, it's a little hard to see unless you are looking for it. Don't worry with an appetizer, as they bring cheddar cheese and crackers to munch on before your order arrives. I highly recommend the "Shore Lunch", for about $12. It includes a huge, yummy walleye fillet over buns, a pickle, and fries or slaw. The "Shore Dinner" includes the same fillet and 2 sides, but is $6 more. The lunch seems like a better deal to me. The restaurant is decorated in a fishing theme, and even has drinks such as the Bluegill, the Minnow, and Frog juice to carry out the theme. Kids eat for only 99 cents several evenings during the week.

Right away, upon entering this restaurant, I enjoyed the decor and atmosphere. Everything was done in a timely manner which I really appreciate, having a toddler and infant. Our waitress was Cheyanna, and she was great! We had a lot of questions and her patience was exuberant! My fiance ordered the Walleye while I had the Chicken Florentine, and both were exceptional! So delicious!! Very pleased with our initial visit at this establishment, will be back for sure!

Portions are good. Old salt fry appetizer was WAY overpriced (about twice what it should have been). That will teach me to ask about the price of a basic fried seafood app before ordering. Also, charging for the bleu cheese crumbles was a little tacky when ordering the bleu cheese option for dressing. That being said, drinks are reasonably priced and the food was pretty decent.

Lazy River Grill is a family favorite! We’ve celebrated many of our birthdays here. The hostess and wait staff are so attyand kind to our 93 year old mom. We were thrilled with the memory photos we’ve gotten!Thank you to all of you for your good food and attentive service!
